I am offering you a first-series Porsche 928 in very well-maintained and original collector’s condition. Approximately 25,000 euros have been invested in its restoration in the recent past. The timing belt was replaced in 03/21. Both technically and visually, this 928 is in absolutely top condition.
This early 928 is the perfect example of why first-series models—and ’70s sports cars in general—are simply super cool and stylish. A 1979 928 simply has to have an extraordinary and beautiful color—and as you can see here, it’s perfect. On first-series models, many details are still different—simpler and more minimalist. But you can tell right away that this one was the top-of-the-line model of its time (only the first 911 Turbo had more power). The interior is lavishly appointed with full leather upholstery. And as extras, it was ordered with air conditioning and cruise control. This classic GT must have been very expensive back then. This 928 comes with the original set of keys, service history, the old registration document, and that incomparable ’70s vibe. A great deal has been invested in restoring it to this condition: The 2021 maintenance alone—including a timing belt replacement—cost 15t€. In addition, the power steering rack was overhauled, as were the A/C compressors. The front and rear brakes were replaced. All invoices are available.
The 928 looks just as incredible from below as it does from above. A valuation report assigns it a grade of “2” and a value of 39.5t€. Also worth noting: This 928 does not have a sunroof, a feature highly sought after by taller people due to the increased headroom.
The most stylish 928 we’ve ever had.
