The vehicle in detail

From model year 1987, the 928 S4 was delivered with 320 hp and a displacement of 5.0 liters. The V8 engine already used in the predecessor model 928 S was further developed for the S4 with four-valve technology and designed to run on unleaded premium petrol. The engine also achieved full power with a catalytic converter.

Although over 90% of customers opted for the automatic transmission, which was available at extra cost, the 5-speed manual gearbox was the better choice for sporty drivers. It provides a more direct driving experience, allows the 320 hp to come into its own and makes every drive a real experience. The manual version clearly stands out from the rather sluggish handling of the automatic version.

The vehicle on offer here dates back to 1988, is a first-hand German model and is in original, very well-maintained condition. Comparable examples in this configuration and history are extremely difficult to find. The mileage can be traced through extensive documentation. The vehicle is technically in perfect condition, with no maintenance backlog, and naturally already has H registration.
