A little story: the 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet
Presented in 1989, the Porsche 964 marks a major evolution of the 911, while retaining its emblematic aesthetic. It introduces more than 85 % of new parts compared to the previous generation, with major technical innovations: power steering, ABS brakes, multi -bass rear suspension, and – in certain versions – all -wheel drive.
The Carrera 2 Cabriolet, launched in 1990, retains traditional rear propulsion dear to purists. It is driven by the 250 hp 3.6-liter Flat-Six engine, coupled here with a 5-speed manual gearbox, for precise and engaging driving.
The convertible offers a perfect balance between sportiness and open -air driving pleasure. In Carrera 2 version, it is lighter and purer than the Carrera 4 version, making it a desired configuration.
