The vehicle in detail

The interior has been refreshed too, the sports seats are in lovely blue leather with houndstooth inserts and she looks just right with the Momo Prototipo 6C carbon fibre steering wheel and a traditional balsa wood Porsche race-style wooden gear knob (reflecting the desire in the 70’s for the race teams to save weight wherever possible!). Neat stainless steel RUF sill guards invite you in. You have a modern but classic looking Blaupunkt head unit with all the mod cons, upgrades speakers and air conditioning. The dark blue carpets set the whole package off. It’s really neat.

The engine has only done a couple of thousand miles since a complete rebuild. Williams Crawford’s engine specialist Paul has worked his magic, splitting the cases, renewing bearings, seals, rings, guides, valves as required against spec. Fabspeed Motorsport ‘Performance Package’ exhaust system with CUP High-Performance air box and BMC Performance air filter resulting in approximately 35 bhp extra from the 3.6’s standard 250 bhp – and it sounds good too!  Brakes, suspension and widgets, serviced checked and ready too. Therefore no worries of future big bills, it’s been done.

Supplied by Adrian in 2010, the 964 has a complete history from new and was an excellent starting point for this refreshment.

The 964, as you will know has the twin spark 3.6 air cooled motor, loads of torque and easy to enjoy, a five speed transmission with intelligent 4 wheel drive, superb ABS brakes, power steering, a better heating and ventilation system, air conditioning, and electric sunroof.

We think that this 964 is something better than a standard example, plus it’s had the right things done…and to a high quality. It represents an opportunity to enjoy someone else’s hard work and investment.

It’s super looking and super driving. One to enjoy.

A Condition Grade 4 (i.e. very very nice), with double keys, the original book pack, service book (28 service stamps!) and driver’s manual, happily supplied with our 6 months Warranty.
