Model history

The Porsche 968 was produced from 1991 to 1995 and marked the end of Porsche's transaxle series. As the successor to the 944, it had a 3.0-liter four-cylinder front engine and a rear-mounted gearbox, which ensured a balanced weight distribution. The 968 was available as a coupé and convertible, while the sporty CS, Turbo S and Turbo RS variants were only offered as coupés. A total of 11,242 units of this model were produced.
