Porsche Boxster 987 – Manual – Night Blue Metallic – 2005

This 2005 Porsche Boxster 987 is finished in Night Blue Metallic, combined with a full black leather interior and a black convertible top. The deep dark blue paint suits the car very well and gives it a stylish and timeless appearance.

The car was originally delivered in Belgium and was delivered new on July 9, 2005, by Porsche Centre Brussels – D’Ieteren in Drogenbos. The current mileage is approximately 98,700 km.

The vehicle in detail

A significant technical plus is that the original engine was completely overhauled by Porsche specialist Auto-Resto at a mileage of 80,031 km. Since this overhaul, the engine has driven less than 19,000 km. Additionally, a pump modification was performed by the same specialist at 96,850 km. With this, the known engine issues of the Porsche 987.1 generation have been thoroughly addressed. This makes this Boxster technically particularly interesting compared to many similar examples where these modifications have not yet been carried out.

A Carnewal GT exhaust was recently fitted at Carnewal in Belgium. This exhaust gives the 2.7-liter six-cylinder boxer engine a fuller and sportier sound, without the car becoming excessively loud. As a result, the characteristic flat-six sound comes out beautifully.

The engine is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox. The Boxster drives tightly, shifts smoothly, and steers exactly as you would expect from a Porsche. In combination with the mid-engine layout, the manual transmission, and the sound of the Carnewal GT exhaust, this is a very fun car to drive.

The current 19-inch Porsche wheels have recently been completely powder-coated and are therefore in very neat condition again. The bodywork and the Night Blue Metallic paint also present themselves particularly beautifully. The combination with the black convertible top and the all-black leather interior makes this a very successful version.

The interior is well-maintained and finished entirely in black leather. In addition, the car is equipped with an Alcantara-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, which gives the interior a sportier look and feels comfortable in the hand.
