The Porsche 991 50 Jahre Edition was unveiled in 2013 at the IAA in Frankfurt to mark the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911. Only 1,963 units of this 911 were built, a reference to the car’s year of birth.
This version is based on the 911 Carrera S and features a widebody kit and a specially tuned Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). It always comes equipped with a sports exhaust system and Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) with bi-xenon headlights and dynamic cornering lights.
The special 20-inch wheels pay homage to the legendary “Fuchs” wheels; they are finished in matte black paint and feature a polished center section. Furthermore, this version is recognizable by the chrome strips on the front air intakes and the hood, among other places.
This anniversary model was available in two new colors: Geyser Gray Metallic and Graphite Gray Metallic; solid black was also an option. At the rear is the “911 50” logo with a 3D effect. That logo also appears inside on the door sills, the tachometer, and the headrests.
Inside, numerous details pay homage to the original Porsche 911, such as the gauges with green dials and white hands. The partially leather-upholstered seats, featuring a center panel of woven fabric with a “Pepita” check pattern, also evoke the 1960s.
The car is based on the 991.1, which is the model you want from this series. The naturally aspirated 3.8-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine without OPF sounds AMAZING. The engine delivers 400 hp, and the sprint to 100 km/h takes 4.3 seconds with PDK transmission.
Our 991 was delivered to the first owner in January 2014. In our opinion, he configured the car in the best possible way: Geyser Gray Metallic with partial brown leather upholstery featuring Pepita center panels, a slicktop, and a brown Alcantara headliner. He owned the car for 10 years.
We purchased the car from the second owner, who, like his predecessor, took excellent care of it. As you can see in the photos, the car is in absolutely mint condition and has only 22,000 km on the odometer.
This 991 50 Jahre Edition has been fully serviced by Porsche; the car underwent a major service in April. The car comes with a Porsche Approved warranty valid through April 2028.
