interior
They put no less effort in Zuffenhausen when it came to decorating the black leather interior. Porsche installed a rev counter in Chalk centrally behind the heated GT Sports steering wheel. The same light contrast color can be found in the Sport Chrono clock, as well as in the form of stitching and GTS badges in the headrests of the adaptive sports seats. Dark and light are therefore beautifully balanced and comparable to the balance between comfort and uncompromising racing DNA. The seating surfaces, bottom of the dashboard and the door panels have a luxurious Alcantara finish, while the lightweight inlay panels on the dashboard and tunnel console are part of the Matt Carbon interior package. The design of the Porsche 911 cockpit is as usual nice and clean, so that such details are shown all the better.
Options & extras
The number of abbreviations on the options list is an achievement in itself. The PASM sports suspension brings the handsome body 10 mm closer to the asphalt and PTV+ stands for Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus: a nice name for even better technology, because it significantly improves traction, both during acceleration and cornering at high speed. As a result, you grip the heated GT Sports steering wheel with maximum confidence, and you are pushed with extra conviction into the heated adaptive sports seats including memory function. The LED Matrix headlights are equipped with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), which automatically adjusts the lighting to the conditions. The Light Design package, in turn, is fully customizable for an ambiance that suits your mood. The combination of Apple CarPlay and Bose Surround Sound should certainly appeal to the audiophile. Although he or she will be just as impressed by the sound of the sports exhaust as soon as he or she is challenged to fine-tune the time on the stopwatch from the Sport Chrono package. If you regularly use the Porsche 992 GTS Cabriolet, you also know that the opportunity is not always there to go fast. Options such as Adaptive Cruise Control and a reversing camera are more than welcome. then you also know that the opportunity is not always there to go fast. Technology & performance
The impressive equipment level is largely dedicated to pure performance. Challenge the double-blown 3.0 liter 6-cylinder boxer engine and immediately understand why. 480 horses are sent to the rear axle via a lightning-fast 8-speed PDK transmission, which then translates the great boxer sound into a very short acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h… In just 3.6 seconds! The 911 Carrera Cabriolet in GTS trim reaches a top speed of 309 km/h, clearly outperforming the heavier four-wheel drive versions. Even more important is the playful character of a rear-wheel drive Porsche. Some things (fortunately) never change…
Kind regards,
team Prins.
