So much has been written about the 993 generation that little more can be added… the best 911 of all time was born in 1993.
Porsche devoted all of its engineering to improving the 964 and creating a unique new generation that lasted until 1998.
Apart from sharing mechanical displacement, 3,600 cc, little more compared to the 964, without a doubt the radical change was based on the entire rear dynamic part.
It was offered in a Coupé and Cabriolet version with a weight for the first of 1370kg approx. and 50kg more for the US market due to safety regulations.
