Porsche 993 Carrera

Porsche 993 Carrera

Coupé, 1995

Highlights

  • Single owner since new
  • Largely original paint
  • Perfect maintenance history

The Porsche 993 is often called the sweet spot of the 911 family. As the very last air-cooled generation, it combines everything we love about the classic cars with just the right amount of modern refinement. Nearly thirty years on, it remains one of the most admired 911s ever made — a car that looks just as good today as the day it left Stuttgart.

This example was delivered new in February 1995 at Porsche Stuttgart and has remained with the same registered German owner from day one until today. That kind of provenance is almost unheard of on a 993 and explains why the car feels so honest and original. It still wears its largely original Guards Red paintwork, paired with a grey leather interior, and was specified with a tasteful list of options: sliding roof, Tiptronic S transmission, heated seats, cruise control, rear wiper, and its original Blaupunkt “Düsseldorf” radio.

The vehicle in detail

The service history is exactly what collectors hope to find. The very first service was carried out at Porsche Stuttgart, followed by years of annual visits to Porsche Aachen, and more recently entrusted to Porsche specialist Hans Schoder. Every interval has been stamped and recorded without a single gap. The odometer now shows under 155,000 km, with the most recent service performed barely 1,000 km ago.

Condition matches the story. The panels are straight, the doors close with that satisfying 911 “ping,” and the original paint label is still present inside the front boot. Under the carpets and around the window seals there are no signs of corrosion — one of the most critical checks on any 993, and this car passes with flying colours. On the road, it performs exactly as a well-kept 993 should: smooth idle at 800 rpm, crisp throttle response, tight suspension, strong brakes, and a gearbox that operates flawlessly. Inside, everything works as intended, with just the right touch of patina to remind you this is a 30-year-old car.

Completeness is another strong point. The car comes with its original leather pouch containing the stamped service book, guarantee card, Touring Pass, manuals, Blaupunkt booklets, as well as the toolkit and spare wheel.

Finding a Porsche 993 is not difficult. Finding one with a single owner from new, a fully documented service history, and such honest original condition is something else entirely. This is exactly the kind of 911 purists are looking for. Fully inspected and approved by our team, it stands as a reference-level Carrera — now available at Rock ’n Roll Classics.
