The first owner in Germany had the engine overhauled.

Major service last year with oil, brake fluid, and spark plugs changed; ignition distributor overhauled with belt; new distributor caps with rotors; valve cover gaskets replaced; has covered 2,300 km since then.
In the last 4 months, the car received a new A/C compressor, V-belt with a new belt guard, and, of course, the system was recharged.
In addition, the 993 has been lovingly and harmoniously converted to an RS look (partly with outrageously expensive new parts).

Worth mentioning
a small paint defect on the roof; my painter says the white paint there is very porous, and I should have had it touched up during the next windshield replacement
The rear carpet on the rear shelf is just resting on top; it would need to be glued down if necessary.
Overall, a very well-balanced and well-maintained car with no rust or overdue maintenance, hardly any stone chips or other signs of wear, and one that definitely doesn’t look its age or mileage.
The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears, the engine runs flawlessly, and thanks to the single-mass flywheel, the 100-cell catalytic converter, and the weight reduction, this 993 is truly very agile.
The suspension is also precise and firmly tuned without sacrificing comfort.
Everything works as it should, and so this 993, as the final iteration of the air-cooled 911, is ready for many fun and enjoyable moments.
