This Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupé of the 993 generation was produced on April 24, 1995, and originally delivered to the German market. It is finished in Black Metallic, paint code L744, combined with a grey leather interior.
The original option specification shows that this is an unusually extensively configured example. Its more purposeful appearance comes from the factory-fitted Porsche Exclusive Aerokit. The aerodynamic components are clearly visible in the photographs and were part of the original factory specification, rather than later aftermarket additions.

The vehicle in detail

At the rear is the air-cooled 3.6-litre six-cylinder boxer engine, producing 272 PS and coupled to the six-speed manual transmission. Power is delivered exclusively to the rear wheels. Porsche equipped this example with a 40% limited-slip differential and Automatic Brake Differential, providing additional traction while retaining the characteristic rear-wheel-drive balance of the Carrera.

The chassis specification also includes factory-lowered suspension and the Motor Sound Package. Together with the manual transmission, limited-slip differential and naturally aspirated flat-six, this gives the car a particularly focused specification.

A major part of this 993’s character is found in its extensive Porsche Exclusive interior. Carbon-fibre trim was specified for the gear lever, handbrake lever, dashboard trim, door-panel inserts and airbag steering wheel. This is combined with aluminium-coloured instrument dials and stainless-steel Carrera door-entry guards.

A considerable number of smaller interior components were additionally trimmed in leather. These include the transmission tunnel, centre-console switch frame, glovebox release and lock surround, electric-window switches, interior door handles, air vents, speaker surrounds, door-lock surrounds, entry panels and mirror-adjustment switches. A leather telephone console and leather-covered five-disc CD storage compartment were also included in the original specification.

The front seats are electrically height-adjustable and fitted with heating on both the driver’s and passenger’s sides. Further equipment includes dual front airbags, power steering, electric windows, headlight washers, front fog lights, an alarm system, immobiliser, wheel locks, sound package, uprated battery and a 75-litre fuel tank.

This is a particularly individual 993 Carrera 2 Coupé. It combines the clean proportions of the narrow Carrera body with a factory Porsche Exclusive Aerokit, an extensive carbon and leather interior specification, rear-wheel drive and the six-speed manual transmission.
