Introduced for the 1996 model year, the Porsche 993 Carrera 4S combined the elegant proportions of the final air-cooled 911 with the wider bodywork and distinctive appearance of the legendary 993 Turbo.
Sharing the Turbo’s wide rear body, all-wheel-drive layout and braking system, the Carrera 4S retained the naturally aspirated 3.6-litre flat-six engine producing 285 PS, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The result was a particularly desirable combination of classic air-cooled driving characteristics, everyday usability and unmistakable Turbo styling.
Today, the 993 Carrera 4S is widely appreciated as one of the most attractive and sought-after variants of the final air-cooled Porsche 911 generation.
This particular example is finished in Polar Silver Metallic, beautifully complemented by its Night Blue full leather interior.
Its elegant specification is enhanced by the rare electrically height-adjustable hardback sports seats, heated seats and the factory M030 sports suspension.
The original Motorola mobile telephone adds a charming period-correct detail to this well-equipped Carrera 4S.

Extensive History and Significant Recent Investment
Originally delivered in Germany with factory collection in Stuttgart, this Carrera 4S subsequently spent several years in Italy before arriving in Belgium in 2016.
The car benefits from an extensive and carefully documented history, including its original service booklet, maintenance invoices, historical records and Belgian Car-Pass documentation.
Throughout its life, maintenance has been carried out by official Porsche Centres and respected Porsche specialists in Germany, Italy and Belgium.
In August 2024, the car underwent a Porsche Classic Check and maintenance at Porsche Centre Antwerp.
More recently, in early 2026, the vehicle returned to Porsche Classic for extensive engine sealing work, supported by an invoice of approximately €12,000.
In total, approximately €25,000 in maintenance and mechanical repair invoices accompany the vehicle, demonstrating the significant attention and investment devoted to its mechanical condition.
The bodywork has been professionally repainted in the past and presents in very attractive condition. According to the available history, the car is accident-free.
A Familiar Porsche Returns
We are particularly pleased to welcome this Carrera 4S back to Carrera-Sport-Classics.
Having sold the car to its current Belgian owner approximately two years ago, we already know this example and its history.
After enjoying his air-cooled 911, the owner has decided to move on to a more modern Porsche, giving us the opportunity to offer this attractive Carrera 4S once again.
First registered in September 1996, the car has now reached its 30th anniversary and is eligible for Belgian historic vehicle registration, subject to the applicable requirements.
