The car was with the 2nd owner for a very long time and was driven to commute between the surrounding area of Cologne to FFM and back again at the weekend. So it was mainly driven long distances, which also explains the current mileage of 254,00 KM
The car was serviced at the Cologne service center until 2003, then continuously at Sportwagen Büchel, who has been known to me for a long time, also services my cars and finally got me this dream car.
Checkbook full until May 2022, after which I had a complete service with valve adjustment and all fluids / filters done.
At 160,000 KM, the engine was overhauled at the request of the previous owner and brought to 3.8 liters with Mahle hardware. In the course of this, there were slightly sharper camshafts, a single-mass flywheel and mufflers were modified, for which an expert opinion was even issued. This was done by Thomas Kirchhöfer (Cartronic)
The car was also fitted with the large turbo brakes (Big Reds)
When I took over the car in July 2021, I got the following:
KW V3 suspension with all control arms, tie rods, suspension joints, rod suspensions, rigid suspension stools.
A new ZF limited slip differential was also installed for driving stability, 45% compression and rebound.
Installation of suspension pivots and differential at Manthey with calibration and suspension setup
Engine tuning at VGS Victor Günther by Ansgar Wiesen. Temperature sensor and pressure can were replaced.
I myself have redone many things, such as BBS LeMans in 9 + 11 x 18, new headlight lenses, original gear stick and entry panels 993 S in stone gray metalic, blower motor, tailgate servos, shift travel shortening 964 RS incl Unibal connection and rear shift rod 993 RS with Unibal, 3-spoke steering wheel with leather airbag, Indianapolis radio extended to Bluetooth reception, air filter cover sound package, rear wing control unit adjustable, ignition distributor overhauled incl. distributor caps / fingers, air conditioning service and much more, I'm sure I've forgotten a lot, the last jobs were new tires, brake discs with pads and drive shafts sliding roof
There is absolutely no maintenance backlog, everything works perfectly, get in and drive off
The 993 drives beautifully direct, firm and precise, but still retains its comfort. Age and total mileage are not noticeable at all, on the contrary.
The idling gives you goose bumps thanks to the 3.8 in combination with the sharp camshafts, the easy revving of the engine thanks to the single-mass flywheel and the perfect tuning by VGS inspires you again and again, the road holding thanks to the completely new suspension and the tuning by Manthey gives you the feeling of driving on rails. Last but not least, the sound of the modified ESD on the 993 is really the best, present without droning
It should also be mentioned that the car is largely in its original paint. Only the rear right side panel was repainted after a knock-down and the front was repainted because of stone chips. The front was then covered with stone chip protection film so that the front is still in top condition.
I recently had a Classic Data report done; grade 2, replacement value 135,000 euros
The car is not a 1st hand pearl with a low mileage, that is clear.
But apart from the fact that the 993 (2)S was only built 3714 times compared to the 4S (6948 units), there are correspondingly fewer than German deliveries. Also, many were equipped as Tiptronic and even fewer had full leather. The car would pass for 130,000 KM mileage both visually and technically.
