A particularly beautiful and completely original 996 Carrera 4S, likely the best of the series. It is also one of the rarest, with a total production run of just 8,500 units. The widened body and all-wheel drive are derived from the Turbo. This makes it the most impressive 996, without a rear wing or air intakes. It is also the safest variant, thanks to the permanent all-wheel drive combined with Porsche Stability Management electronics. Few affordable sports cars inspire as much confidence at high speeds as the 4S. The increased traction on the front wheels ensures significantly superior straight-line stability and road holding. The 996 4S is equipped with the 3.6-liter, 320-hp six-cylinder boxer engine. Not only the bodywork, but also the chassis and brakes are those of the Turbo. The red brake calipers are therefore not just a nice paint job.
The car is very well configured, with the choice of “Seal Grey” for the exterior, in perfect contrast to the spectacular all-leather Natural Brown interior. Very elegant and sporty with carbon fiber inserts (original optional X48, XMJ, XPD).
The vehicle has been very well maintained; the exterior bodywork is beautiful, with no major scratches or dents, and both the front and rear headlights are pristine, glossy, and free of cracks. It is inside that you can truly see how well this 996 4S has been maintained; plastics, carpets, screens, and trim—everything is absolutely pristine, with no cracks or marks.
The car is in the process of being registered with ASI and will receive a Certificate of Historical Significance.
