Anyone familiar with the market knows just how extremely rare this configuration is. Of the approximately 17,300 996 C4S coupes built worldwide, an estimated 30 to 40% were delivered with a Manual transmission. The color white was an absolute rarity at the time (approximately 2 to 5% of production). Based on that, only about 130 to 350 vehicles worldwide were built in the white/manual transmission combination.
Since a large portion of these already rare white vehicles were exported at the time to the U.S., the Arab world, or Japan, it is virtually impossible today to find such a vehicle on the European market—especially one with this mileage.

Major maintenance: Complete service including oil change (Porsche Classic 5W50), new spark plugs, new filters, and brake fluid change.
Suspension recently overhauled: All four struts (front and rear) were removed, disassembled, fitted with new auxiliary springs and bellows, and reinstalled. The vehicle was then completely realigned.
Drivetrain & Engine: The V-ribbed belt, idler pulleys, tensioner pulley, and transmission fluid were replaced as a preventive measure. The cooling system was drained and refilled.
Gearshift: The entire shift linkage was replaced to ensure a precise and crisp shifting feel, just like on the first day.
Additional Details: New wiper blades, new sun visor, and various minor cosmetic upgrades.
