The paint finish of the Porsche 996 is also typical of a special model: it is a special paint finish and goes by the name “Violet Chromaflair”. Except for minor age-related signs of wear, the body of the sports car is in very good condition and does not need to be repainted. The following equipment features can be found on the exterior, which are included in the “Millennium Edition”: The windscreen has a green wedge, the tailpipes are chrome-plated at the rear and a rear window wiper is fitted, and Litronic headlights (xenon) can be seen at the front. The seller states that no modifications have been made to the exterior of the 996, and the Porsche is in accident-free condition.
18-inch rims, which are known from the 996 Turbo and have been polished to a high gloss as is typical for the special model, adorn the exterior with tires in good condition. The condition of the brakes can also be described as good, if you look further at the chassis components, there are no inconsistencies.
There are also some special features of the "Millennium Edition" in terms of interior technology: The Porsche is lined with full leather in the color cinnamon brown and there are maple root wood and aluminum applications on the doors, the gear knob, the handbrake lever and the steering wheel. In addition, the so-called Porsche Communication Management (PCM) is on board the 911, and sports seats with seat heating and electrical adjustment are also installed. There is a sunroof, the headliner is lined in black Alcantara, mirrors and seats have a memory function, and the boxer engine in the rear and the digital sound package ensure good sound. A 6-disc CD changer is also on board, as are "911" door sills and Porsche Stability Management (PSM). Last but not least, a limited special model also includes an anniversary plaque on the center console with a consecutive edition number. There are no signs of damage or defects throughout the interior.
In the cockpit, the driver looks at the typical Porsche 911 five round instruments, which in this case have white dials. The mileage of 52,700 is documented by a complete customer service checkbook. This 996 has also always been serviced in the Porsche Center. All instruments in the interior have a perfect functionality.
The six-cylinder boxer engine with a displacement of 3.4 liters produces 300 hp, and the driver can shift up and down directly on the steering wheel via a 5-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. There are no technical defects to be found, a last customer service was carried out at mileage 49,737. There is no repair backlog, the engine and transmission are dry and tight.
Like the body, the underbody of the Porsche 996 "Millennium Edition" is also in a rust-free condition.
