The exterior of the Porsche 996 is in a neat and well-preserved condition with no major defects or modifications: Except for the repainted bumper, this coupé, which is in the color "silver metallic", still has its first paint. No corrosion can be found on the exterior, the headlights and the rear lights are also undamaged and the glass surfaces have no scratches. The exhaust system stands out prominently at the rear, and the euphonious word "Carrera" is applied to the boot lid. The current owner excludes an accident in his holding period.
Michelin tires in size 225/40 on the front axle and tires from the Continental brand in size 285/30 on the rear axle ensure sufficient grip, and the tires are also brand new all round. The rims are original Porsche 18-inch aluminum alloys in a five-spoke design, with no curb scratches visible all around. Perforated brake discs at the front and rear ensure deceleration, the condition of the brake system can be classified as good according to the seller. Apparently no modifications were made to the chassis that deviated from the original condition.
The full-leather sports seats of the Porsche have beige leather in the interior: there is no damage to be found on the seats – they present themselves without any signs of wear and the seat upholstery is still completely intact. The Porsche crest is embossed on the headrests of the front seats. The three-spoke leather steering wheel is not particularly worn, and there are no signs of wear on the beige dashboard or the beige interior carpet. The current owner mentions that there are no deficits in the interior of this 996. Typically Porsche – the rev counter is in the center of the driver's field of vision: the digital odometer, which is also located in the middle below the rev counter, shows a mileage of 70,410 kilometers. The seller mentions that the total mileage of this 996 can be traced through various documents. A perfect functionality of all instruments is given.
A 3.6 liter water-cooled boxer engine works in the rear, which provides an output of 320 hp. It is shifted via a 5-speed automatic transmission called Tiptronic – here the driver can select the gears on the steering wheel if desired. A last service was carried out in 2017, according to the current owner no technical defects can be declared.
A look at the underbody of the Porsche 996 Carrera reveals a healthy and well-preserved substance – serious deficits on the underside of the sports car cannot be listed.
