The Cocoa leather interior is a beautiful contrast to the metallic black on the outside and presents quite nicely with just a few creases in the seats from use. Equipped with extended leather, the deep brown hide extends onto the sport steering wheel and along the dashboard which is all stitched with corresponding brown thread. Additionally, the center console has been optioned in leather and the 12-way adjustable sport seats have been specified with an embossed Porsche crest in the headrests.

Sitting in the rear of the car is a 3.8-liter flat-6 with direct fuel injection for the first time in the 911’s history. From the factory, the car is rated at 385 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque which allows for 0-60 mph in just 4.3 seconds. To achieve this acceleration time, the power is sent through a 7-speed PDK gearbox, which allows for lightning-fast shifting and comfortable, efficient driving around town. The car received a thorough servicing last year at Porsche Center Verona where the brakes and rear suspension were addressed and features both a set of Bridgestone summer tires as well as Pirelli P Zero winter tires. This combination of engine and gearbox makes it the perfect 911 for daily use while also a truly sublime car when the roads get twisty. Add to that the fact this car is equipped with all-wheel-drive, it is a true one-car solution to be enjoyed year-round.

There is little doubt that the 997 is a future classic in the making- and the second-generation cars with their updated DFI engines are especially desirable.
