PORSCHE 911 997 Turbo Convertible for sale!

Akrapovic | Bose | PASM | Lots of leather!

The Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet is a German cannon on wheels. The addition “Turbo” makes this Elfer clearly more special than its peers. Faster too; In contrast to the current generation of Porsche 911, the 997 actually made a technical distinction between the Turbo and non-Turbo versions. This makes the difference with other Porsche 997 models in terms of driving experience extra large. In Cabriolet form, the dynamics of the blown 911 comes into its own extremely well. Just open the roof please, if only because of the exciting sound of the Akrapovič exhaust system. It is also a feast when you see the further decoration: loads of leather, seat heating, PASM, PSM, Bi-Xenon, Bose Surround Sound, Park Assistant and a telephone module are, among other things, included.

The vehicle in detail

Exterior
The Porsche 997 is actually the tougher variant compared to predecessor 996. The model still has the iconic round shapes, but looks less sweet. In particular, the version that carries the Turbo badge: an aggressive front lip spoiler, large air intakes at the bottom of the modified bumpers, striking cooling slots + splitter directly behind the doors, a ‘fixed’ rear spoiler and of course the eccentric shape of the exhausts are typical Turbo. Although, in this case, the latter is slightly different thanks to Akrapovič’s involvement. The specialist has built a serious reputation as a result of the production of serious melodies. And so it is completely justified that the black painted end pieces have a unique design. Speaking of black: the body, convertible top, Turbo wheels and even the lettering are the same. On the Porsche logo.

Interior
The choice for sand Beige leather interior is distinctive in the German sports car. The amount of leather on board the 997 Turbo is unique: steering wheel, seats, doors, dashboard, the back of the center console and even the sun visors have a Sand Beige leather finish. And if it’s not made of leather, it’s a different material that has the same chic shade. Up to and including the complete door trim and ventilation grilles! A set of 5 analog clocks including a white background and an occasional aluminum detail provide a limited contrast in the Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet interior. We personally love it, because well: Prins is synonymous with unique cars…

Options & extras
Most aluminum can be found around the navigation and entertainment screen. From here you also control the telephone module and the Bose Surround Sound audio system. The integrated fire extinguisher hopes no one will need it, but that it is there gives a safe feeling. In any case, parking must be possible without damage, because Park Assistant is always ready. Prefer to look at infinity? Even in the dark that shouldn’t be a problem; the Bi-Xenon headlights offer maximum (over)view at times when the sun does not show itself for a while. Even then, going homeless is still advisable. And for two reasons: the heated seats and the sound sensation. And no, by that we don’t mean Bose’s…

Technique & performance
While the compelling sound of the Akrapovič exhaust system brings out the best in the 3.6 liter 6-cylinder boxer engine, this 911 Turbo shows itself to be a stable factor when it comes to grip and driving experience. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) leaves a rock solid impression as soon as the Elfer changes course quickly. And Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) also means that the blown 997 Cabriolet can’t be bothered when cornering hard. Prefer to get off the starting blocks quickly? No problem of course. After all, you have a Turbo for that: you can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. This Porsche chases through its 5 automatic gears up to a top speed of 310 km/h. Interim acceleration is an explosive experience; the Turbo is constantly on the lookout and gives occupants a big boost. This is Porsche experience at its best! Now exclusively at Prins.

Sincerely,
Prince Esclusivo.
