This is the facelift model from 2009 which includes updated PCM navigation and the 3.4 engine is equipped with direct fuel injection (DFI). The engine is more powerful and economical than that of the previous generation. With the introduction of the new seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox, this Cayman variant shifts much faster than its predecessor with tiptronic gearbox.
