2005 RUF 3800S – a Boxster S with the heart of a 997 Carrera S and a Cayman GT4 transmission.

This 2005 Boxster S was converted to RUF 3800S specification by RUF AutoCentre in Dallas. The conversion included installation of a 3.8L X51 Flat-6, a full RUF exhaust, RUF ECU programming, 19″ RUF wheels, and RUF badging. In 2021, the stock Boxster S transmission was replaced by a 6-speed unit out of a Cayman GT4 with a new clutch.
