Welcome to Karero!
For us, everything revolves around Porsche sports cars. We are particularly interested in unrestored, originally preserved Porsche models. Because original and beautifully patinated vehicles convey an authenticity that is difficult to find even in well-restored vehicles. There are signs of use and small flaws that testify to the history of a vehicle, make it interesting and underline its uniqueness. In this way, we become aware that we are dealing with a piece of contemporary automotive history and not with restorations that can be reproduced at will. This understanding creates fascination and passion that we would like to share with you!
When choosing our Porsches, we primarily focus on the authenticity of original Porsches that have not yet been restored. We have long been of the opinion that original vehicle fabric should be preserved where possible, because it is what makes a car unique and authentic. And, unlike most restoration work, this original substance is no longer reproducible. For us, “driving” cars that have aged “dignified” and have a beautiful patina (please do not confuse them with used vehicles in need of restoration!) Are no less attractive than perfectly preserved “collector” vehicles in their original paintwork.
From our understanding of automotive tradition it follows that you will not find fully restored vehicles in new condition with us, but authentic original cars. This understanding has long since established itself among connoisseurs and collectors in the scene. Unrestored original cars are regularly in greater demand, not least because of their rarity value, and enjoy a higher stability of value than adequate restored specimens.
With our selected vehicles from Porsche, we would like to convey a piece of contemporary automotive history to you and share our passion with you. And the latter is the focus of everything we do!
