1964 Porsche 356 C for sale!

This survivor was delivered new by Fa. Rittersbacher Kaiserslautern Germany. After a few months it was exported to Berkeley California. In 1968 the car was sold to the second owner. He had it until a few months ago. Due his age he had to sell his cars. This 356 was stored in his dry garage for the last 38 years. He had a very nice little high end Porsche 356 collection. Beside this one he had an all original Carrera 2. I was very lucky that we could buy this 356. This is what they call an all original survivor. One of the best I have seen in the last 20 years.

Body and paint
The preservation of the body is amazing. All original panels, no rust, never had rust. The gaps and panel fit is concours quality. All matching.

However most of the cars were color changed in red in the eighties this owner did the other way around. He painted his Ruby red 356 black. The paint job was done quite good especially for that time. But this car deserves his original color. We did a bare metal paint job in the lovely color Ruby red. This documented with photos.

Interior
Beside a new headliner this interior is 100% original. The seats are nearly pristine after 58 years. Steering wheel has no pitting in the spokes. Gauges are clear, door cards are perfect. Just amazing. The carpet has some wear but please don’t touch it. Even the key is still original. The 82.000 miles on the meter could be original.

Wheels
5 correct matching wheels in its original chrome. Not perfect but very nice. 4 new tires.

Technical
This 356 was parked for decades. We took out the engine and did a major service and an optical refurbish. Runs strong. NOS European heater exhaust.
The engine was technical rebuilt in the eighties regarding the records that comes with the car. Almost not driven since.
GearboxThe gearbox is matching numbers. Shifts smooth in every gear. New bushings.
