The car was delivered on Christmas Eve 1984 by the Blackwell Import Motors dealership in Jackson, Missouri to the first owner who had it for four years, covering 34,450 miles; the second owner acquired it in 1989 and scrupulously kept it for 27 years, covering 45,000 miles and finally came to the third and current owner who has traveled about 4,000 miles in 4 years, for a total of 83.500 miles.

Ordered in the beautiful pastel dark blue (Dunkelblau), with painted Fuchs rims, black soft top and blue interior, with the rare and expensive Turbolook Kit, which included the 3.3 Turbo brakes in addition to the widened fenders, the car was then enriched with interesting accessories over the years: one of the most characteristic is the persenning to drive the car with the open top, hiding the rear and passenger seats. The 1987 optional sound package was also installed in 1987, probably with the cassette holder, which is still present today. In 2003 the catalyst was removed and the ECU kit was installed which made it possible to get the performances of the MY87 3.2 Carrera, with a slight increase in power from 207 to 217 horsepower (with the removal of the catalyst the current power should be around 223 hp).
