The car on offer was delivered new in France by Sonauto in 1978. It is a 180 hp version, it has an interesting history as until 2017 three friends sold the car to each other according to their desires or needs. The car is in its original configuration and the numbers match. It is equipped with its original ATS rims.

In 2017 this car was bought by our Detailer who has been rebuilding it over the years before we sold it in 2021. A complete paint job of very good quality was done on this occasion. The only defect that has not been solved is that the bonnet has moved a little and the front left alignment is not perfect. The interior is original and has just been fully cleaned and cared for, it is in superb condition.

Mechanically, it works very well. A big overhaul had been done when we sold it, including a change of the exhaust system, many gaskets, engine sealing, … An additional service will be done for the sale

The Porsche 911 SC appeared in August 1977 and replaced both the S and the Carrera (hence its number, short for S-Carrera). The 911 SC uses the same mechanical elements as the Carrera 3.0 and keeps the widened wings, but the power is reduced to 180 hp while it gains weight ( 1160 kg ). In August 1979, power was increased to 188 hp, then to 204 hp in August 1980.

The 911 SC generation was almost the last 911 generation. Faced with the discontent of its customers and enthusiasts, Porsche finally decided to keep the car in its catalogue, under the impetus of Peter Schutz, and to replace the 3.0 litre engine fitted to the SCs by a 3.2 from 1983, which gave a new dynamic to the 911 range.
