The mild California climate has been kind to this Porsche. The floors, which are often rusted away, are original steel except the front section under the battery. They were stripped to steel a few years ago and re-coated for protection. The body is straight, solid and has excellent panel gaps. There are no signs of prior accident damage. The slate grey paintwork is more than a decade old and has imperfections and patina on nearly every panel. It has a well-traveled look that and we like its character.

Work completed in the last three years includes a new tank and lines, rebuilt carburetors to factory Super spec, a front disc brake conversion with parts from CSP, a new muffler from Eisenmann, upgraded LED exterior lighting, “C” model wiper assembly with variable speed switch, new “T6” shifter assembly and new linkage, rebuilt Blaupunkt radio with new speakers, wheels powder-coated, and a complete interior including new rubber mats and seatbelts. The work performed allowed the prior owner to successfully complete several road trips of more than 600 miles each. This is a well-sorted 356B with a fantastic original color that can be used and enjoyed without worrying about adding more wear and tear.
