2,168 built of 4,743 Karmann Coupes produced in 1964, this is the final iteration of the 356, boasting superior performance and handling over its predecessors. Finished in its factory exterior color combination of Slate Grey (6401) with Red upholstery. The paintwork has some patina with imperfections over the years. The exterior comes equipped with a luggage rack, Cibie fog lights, and chrome hub caps. The upholstery is in great overall condition and features a VDM 3-spoke steering wheel, VDO instrumentation, and a Blaupunkt cassette radio. The 4.5” x 15” KPZ steel wheels are date-coded and mounted to Michelin XZX 165 HR15 tires. The undercarriage is original, solid and rust free.
