This 1977 Porsche 911S is an outstandingly preserved, low-mileage example of Porsche’s classic G-series era. Delivered new in California and showing only 18,728 miles from new, it remains in highly original condition, making it a rare and desirable surviving example of the late 2.7-litre models.

Still retaining its factory finishes of Grand Prix White over Tan Leatherette trim and mechanical components, the car reflects the careful use and favourable climate of its long term California provenance. The 2.7 litre flat-six engine and manual transmission deliver the characteristically engaging, lightweight driving experience that defines the air-cooled 911 lineage, while the “S” designation denotes the sportier version within the model range

Unmodified, low-mileage, and unrestored cars of this era are increasingly difficult to find, and this example represents exactly the kind of originality collectors now prize. As a time capsule 911S it stands out as a superb reference grade example of Porsche’s 1970s engineering and design

The 911S left the United States in 2011 and was subsequently sold to a new owner in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. It was later purchased by a dealer in Belgium before coming to the UK in 2014, where it remained unregistered and unused within our client’s impressive Porsche collection for circa 10 years, stored correctly in dehumidified, perfect conditions. The car was finally registered in the UK in December 2025
