Larger exhaust turbochargers and piezo injectors are used for the first time. Exhaust manifolds derived from the 911 GT2 RS improve responsiveness and efficiency, thanks to optimised flow ratios. The additon of two-tract air outlet for the intercoolers between the tailpipes in the rear apron enables more efficient air flow and charge-air cooling – and thus more power.

The results are impressive. The 911 Turbo S engine delivers 478kW (650PS). The acceleration figures are excellent as the 911 Turbo S reaches 62 mph in 2.7 seconds with Launch Control and 125 mph in just 8.9 seconds. Top speed is 206 mph where permissable.
