Offered for only two short years, the 2.2L variant of the 911 T brought more power and torque over its 2.0L predecessor along with a slightly longer wheelbase and new suspension. Ventilated disc brakes and standard Fuchs alloy wheels further increased performance. Only 6,544 911 T coupes were produced before additional changes to the model were released in 1972.
