Porsche 911 (996) GT3 MK2 for sale!
In the 2003 model year, the now extremely popular Porsche 996 GT3 was facing revision.
Previous model years had become very popular with Porsche customers, so a facelift would not be enough to satisfy the often demanding Porsche buyers.

The always popular Mezger engine was upgraded from 360 hp to 381 hp with a separate oil tank, GT1 crankcase, differential lock, titanium connecting rods and 89-litre tank.
As a result, the car was now able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in a mere 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 306 km/h.
Other significant modifications were a change from the original Michelin Pilot Sport 1 to the sportier Michelin Pilot Sport 2 and an upgraded steering system, making steering more direct.
As was the case with the previous Porsche 996 GT3 MK I, the Porsche 996 GT3 MK II was available in two versions, Comfort or Club Sport; Club Sport being the most uncompromising of the two.
