The engine is derived from that of the 964 RS, for which all the internal elements had been reinforced and treated with Nickasil. The 993 will be available from its launch equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, a novelty for the firm. It will also be offered in automatic gearbox, called Tiptronic.
The 993 will be the last Porsche „air“ and will be produced until mid-1997 when it will be replaced by the 996. It will be available in 2 or 4 wheel drive, wide or narrow body, coupe, cabriolet, targa, Turbo and RS.
The proposed car is a 2WD version, which was delivered new to the factory for an Italian customer (hence the C00 while the car was in Italy before being imported to France). It is late 1995, so among the first Varioram version of 285 hp short-box (G50 / 21). Its history is very clear with an owner in Italy, then 3 in France, the last one for more than 10 years.
This car is particularly interesting by its equipment. Indeed besides the 285 hp short box, the configuration of the car is focused „sport“. It is equipped with the Sport M030 chassis, turbo wheels in original 18 (not the full 4S rims), the self-locking differential and rigid hull sports seats. This configuration without sunroof is particularly interesting for those looking for a car with a sports config. When driving, the car is really different from a standard 993 C2. The car is also equipped with Scart stainless steel silencer offering a beautiful sound (original silencer available).
It is also equipped with full leather interior. The car stereo is available with the car, a Becker more modern car stereo at the moment.
This 993 is in perfect condition of presentation. It shows no signs of shock or accident. The paint is of good quality, some elements have had a paint veil according to the measurement of thicknesses that do not exceed 280/300 microns.
In mechanics it works perfectly, without any anomaly or spurious noise to report.
The record of this car is very complete with of course its maintenance book and especially the maintenance bills. Its history is as follows:
