Porsche 996 GT3 RS
Highlights
- 1-of-682 Examples
- Consistent service/maintenance records
- Fully converted to follow EPA/DOT/NHTSA regulations
2004 GT3 RS – 18 thousand miles. Available now. Only 682 examples of the 996 RS were produced for the Rest of World market, with none officially delivered to the USA—making it rarer than the 964 RS and 993 RS that preceded it (2,276 and 1,104 cars, respectively) and the 997 GT3 RS that followed (with a total production of 3,268 cars worldwide).
Not only was it the first GT3 RS—it was the last produced for the purpose of homologating its racing counterpart. Rarity and facts aside, the 996RS offers one of the most distilled, high-performance 911 experiences behind the wheel, and an incredible road presence as well—owing to its “forbidden fruit” status stateside.
This example was originally delivered to Japan, where it showed consistent service and maintenance history prior to importation to the USA in 2018. The conversion to EPA/DOT and NHTSA standards for show and display exemption was performed by Wallace Labs. This RS is ready to be driven an enjoyed by its next owner.
