Widely considered to be the ultimate open-top incarnation of the 997 family, the Porsche Speedster is based on the 997.2 GTS cabriolet base, combining a stunning retro-modern shape, solid performance and rarity into a very collectable package. Presented in 2011 and built in only 356 samples, it was the third production 911 Speedster made, preceded by the 930 and 964 generations, and inspired by the iconic 356 of the 1950s. Fitted with the 408 hp “Power Pack” version of the 3.8 Litre engine, it was equipped with the wider rear hips from the Carrera 4 and Turbo models, as well as unique “Fuchs-Style” alloy wheels, PCCB Carbon ceramic brakes, PDK transmission and the Sport Chrono Package.
