Rare Porsche 356 A T1 Coupe with Reutter body. According to Kardex, the car was delivered on 05.09.1956 and sent to Hoffmann, New York. Not matching numbers car due to an engine change.

The driver’s seat was replaced by a Recaro bucket seat with harness straps. The original seat is still present.
Still a lot of original paint inside and out. The instruments, switches and interior/ door panels/ carpets are mostly original. A restoration can always be done later, but driving this car is at least as much fun.

The vehicle in detail

The Porsche is a joy to drive and a real eye-catcher. After importing it from the USA, it quickly became clear that the exterior appearance of the Porsche would be preserved.
Mechanically good, the body has had almost no rust. Only the sill corners have been repaired. The underbody is painted black. The axle parts, the brakes and the technology were overhauled. The engine has been replaced by a later engine. The gearbox shifts very nicely. A lot has been invested.
