The technology. The switch from the old 3.4- and 3.8-liter naturally aspirated engines to the new 3.0-liter twin-turbo initially set off alarm bells for many 911 drivers. Fortunately, that was short-lived, because once you get behind the wheel of this 911 generation, you’ll find that the addition of a smaller turbocharged engine brings many advantages. The new turbo engines deliver more power, more torque, and are also more fuel-efficient. They drive as impressively as ever, offering tremendous everyday comfort and superior balance in the corners. It’s still a boxer engine with that characteristic sound, accompanied by a slight whistle from the turbos that’s clearly audible through the switchable sports exhaust.
Performance. Make no mistake, a standard Carrera is a serious sports car. The Carrera model delivers 370 hp and 450 Nm of torque from 1,700 rpm, accelerating from 0 to 100 kph in 4.2 seconds (with Sport Chrono). To put that into perspective: that’s the same sprint time as a 4-wheel-drive Porsche 996 Turbo. The top speed is 293 kph.
History and Maintenance. The car was delivered by Porsche Centrum Gelderland. All necessary maintenance was performed at the mileage intervals listed below. The work performed is, of course, documented in the complete service booklet. The last service was in June 2024 at 51,233 km.

Paint depthmeasurement, tires, and brakes. As part of our pre-purchase inspection, we routinely perform a paint thickness measurement. This Carrera still has its original paintwork throughout—fenders, doors, trunk lid, etc. The Pirelli P Zero tires are in good condition and have adequate tread depth. The rear tires have 6 mm of tread depth, and the front tires have 5 mm. The brake rotors and pads are in good condition all around.
