Our car started it´s life in Sweden and was imported to Finland in 2016. Being registered as a Vintage car in Finland, it only needs a technical inspection every 4th year. The car has had a major restoration in Sweden and is in beautiful condition. The color combination signal red/red burgundy is perfect for the round lines of the T5 bodywork. Having the T5 body (which made it´s debut at the 1959 Frankfurt Show), the car still retains the smaller front and rear windows, one piece rear grill and the beautifully curved front bonnet with the fuel filler inside the front luggage compartment. Air intakes were added to the T5 body below the front bumper. The car has a Reutter build sheet which outlines the body manufacturing information. A unique feature in our car is the sunroof, which adds to the driving feel. Only around 250 examples left the factory with this option, making it a rare classic.

The car has the 1600cc engine (code: 616/1) which produces 60hp, which is enough to move the 900kg car. The engine has been replaced at an earlier time, but is identical to the original engine, almost down to the serial number. There are some spare parts with the car included in the sale. The 356 B model range has an updated gearbox with improved synchromesh, which is easy to use and does not miss a beat. The 356 B cockpit also utilizes from the new 3-spoke steering wheel and updated fascia on the switches.

The engine runs smoothly over the rev range, and the carburetors have lately been restored. The engine bay and front luggage compartments are in mint condition. Also, the undercarriage of the car is in tidy condition. A recent service guarantees that many enjoyable miles are ahead. Driving is a pleasure and the car brings out smiles everywhere you go.
