The 356 is widely regarded as one of the most enduring postwar sporting models and the late SC models featured then modern era mechanical improvements, including a 95 horsepower 1600cc engine, dual Solex carburetors, and disc brakes. The vehicle in detail

This late production Karmann 356 C Coupe was delivered new to Texas. It remained in Texas for a short time prior to being sold to its second owner and relocating to Winchester, Virginia where it had been owned and loved until only a few years ago. At this time, it was purchased by a Virginia based Porsche collector.

While in its most recent ownership the 356 was stripped to its bare bones and a complete and thorough restoration was performed in-house by his own staff, no stone was left unturned. Please note, all original sheet metal and body parts are original. The only items that are used from original and not restored are the original sun visors and headliner which have only the slightest patina and show the charmed life led. Complete receipts and photo documentation of this 356C’s restoration accompany the car. As stated above, the engine has been restored the “SC” 95 HP specifications. It was also decided to upgrade the shifter mechanism with a Wevo short shift kit and the electrical system has been converted to 12V specification.

Professionally restored, this 356 is complete with owner’s manual, tools and factory jack. This 356 has just been broken and dialed in from restoration. Absolutely superb throughout, this 356 is ready for immediate road or concours use.
