Porsche 718 Boxster Style Edition

A few key MISTAKES you can make when choosing a Cabriolet:

• Black seats – The leather gets so hot that you can’t even sit down. I once had this dubious pleasure… you essentially “sit” with straight knees and heels dug into the floor, just so you don’t touch the seat…
• Lack of seat ventilation – In the summer, this makes a huge difference—unless you prefer walking around with a massive sweat stain on your back and butt.
• 4-seater – Anyone who has sat in the back of a convertible never wants to do it again! There is no wind deflector there, and the wind constantly blows right in your face!
• Large engine – A convertible is meant for cruising, enjoying the weather, listening to nature, and the slow life—with a loud engine, you can’t hear anything, and you quickly get a headache.
• Shallow seating and a small wind deflector – When testing various convertibles, I often experienced wind blowing over my head (I’m 1.84m tall), which absolutely does not happen in the 718.
• Inability to fold the roof while driving – Folding the roof in a Spyder during the rain is a meme… In our climate, when it’s warm, it often rains 🙂 And even with electronically folding roofs, in some models, you can only operate them while in Park (P)…

Don’t make these mistakes, and make sure your convertible is a 2-seater with ventilated white leather, a moderate engine, a proper wind deflector for your height, and a roof that can be folded while driving!
