Technology & Performance The absolute highlight of this Cayman GTS is its 4.0-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine. No turbos, but a high-revving engine character with exceptionally direct throttle response and the distinctive sound of a naturally aspirated Porsche six-cylinder.

The engine delivers 400 pk and, in combination with the 7-speed PDK, 430 Nm of torque. With PDK and Launch Control, the Cayman GTS 4.0 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds. The sprint to 200 km/h takes 13.7 seconds, and the top speed is 288 km/h.

It is precisely the combination of the naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine, mid-engine layout, and compact dimensions that makes the GTS 4.0 so special. The engine is positioned directly behind the occupants, resulting in exceptionally good weight distribution and balance. The GTS 4.0 also features a PASM sports suspension lowered by 20 mm and Porsche Torque Vectoring with a mechanical limited-slip differential. This makes it perhaps one of the purest modern Porsche sports cars that is also perfectly suitable for everyday use.
