1974 Porsche 911 Targa – 3.0 Litre
A completely restored and mechanically upgraded left hand drive 911 Targa, originally delivered to Belgium in 1974 and comprehensively rebuilt in 2016. The car was taken back to bare metal with all rust addressed, leaving a totally solid, corrosion free shell finished in Slate Grey paintwork with a complementing Black leather interior. At the same time, the engine and gearbox were completely rebuilt, from top to bottom. Now running a later 3.0 litre flat six producing 180hp, paired with a 5 speed manual gearbox and also benefiting from a Skart sports exhaust and stainless steel heat exchangers. The car pulls very well and sounds fantastic. Suspension and braking systems were also fully refreshed, with new shocks, refurbished calipers and all new bushes. Subtle upgrades include an RS style ducktail, yellow fog lamps, Nardi steering wheel, wooden gear knob and an updated Porsche PCCM head unit to add a touch of modern functionality!
