The vehicle in detail

In 89 the Speedster was commercialized to rejuvenate the 911 and permit Porsche to sell the last G type production cars.

The car was designed to make a new driving experience with non such sensations unparalleled to the cabriolet.

At the time 90% of the Speedster were delivered in Turbolook version (1942 cars), compared to the NARROW bodied version weighting 80 kilograms less than the Turbolook, which make it indeed, a rare bird !!

The NARROW body speedster features a shortened windscreen, side windows and a twin-hump fiberglass rear deck.

This very rare car came out of the factory in 1989, only 161 LHD NARROW body Speedster code 911730 were produced for the world market including 10 RHD for the Australian market (Porsche AG source), it was built for the French market code C05 with the non catalyst 3,2L engine type 930/20 paired with the G50 five-speed manual transaxle so it produce 231 CH and was sold new by Porsche Strasbourg dealer and has been first registered in France in 1992.

This narrow body Speedster shows only 14189 miles/22835 km, the correct 6’ and 8X16’ dated original Fuchs wheels are wrapped with Pirelli PZero tires, the full interior is upholstered in black leather with a matching black carpeting, the factory option sport seats are power height adjustments.
