Originally delivered by Gregg Motors of Santa Barbara, California, to the first owner, Don Cooper, on May 24, 1989. Early service records reflect Porsche dealer maintenance through 1992, followed by continued care at All German Auto in Escondido, California, a respected marque specialist. Under Cooper’s long-term ownership from 1989 to 2004, the 911 remained in Southern California and was consistently maintained. In April of 2004, ownership transferred to Mr. Gummerson, who lived on the Central Coast of California, where the 911 continued to receive routine maintenance and regular use through 2011. Acquired by the third Southern California owner in August of 2011, the 911 has been well-maintained through 2026, continuing a pattern of documented care and consistent use.
Mechanically powered by its 3.2-liter air-cooled flat-six engine producing 217 horsepower, paired with the desirable G50 five-speed manual transmission, and four-wheel disc brakes. Everything functions as it should, with a strong 3.2 engine, a smooth-shifting transmission, and the braking system was recently rebuilt. This 3.2 Carrera Cabriolet delivers the engaging driving experience for which late G-series 911s are known. Most recently, European Collectibles performed a comprehensive service and cosmetic refresh, including refinishing the Fuch alloy wheels, paint correction, and dry-ice detailing of the engine. Mechanical work included brake and air conditioning service, as well as a major service that included new spark plugs, ignition wires, oil and filters changed, and a valve adjustment. Complete with an owner’s manual, maintenance booklet, California registration records, spare wheel, and 14 years of service history. A well-documented and maintained 911 3.2 Carrera G50 Cabriolet represents an appealing opportunity to acquire a desirable open 911 with Southern California history.
