While M491 does not appear among the listed option codes, the Carrera retains the Turbo-Look package’s distinctive bodywork and mechanical upgrades. Contemporary Porsche sources indicate that the earliest 1984 Cabriolets were specified through the Special Wishes department and may not have been recorded using the M491 option code adopted later.
