After the 911 Carrera was completely restored by a specialist in Germany, it is presented in new car condition. The frame-off restoration also gave us the chance to gain an insight into the incredibly interesting history. There are no welds or other signs of sheet metal work to be found on the wide body. This in combination with the factory vehicle order, which refers to 930 tires, confirms our assumption that this is a Carrera 3.0 that was built by the factory with a wide body. An absolute specialty before the official introduction of the WTL a few years later.
The condition is just as impressive as the history of the car. No expense or effort was spared during the restoration. In bright carmine red, the 911 is an absolute eye-catcher and conveys the joy of life of the late 70s, before the days of strict political correctness. The driver sits in an interior with great attention to detail.
