The vehicle in detail

“Tarrgy” was born from an iconic Porsche 911 Targa that required a complete restoration after years of neglect.

At Iconic Motors, we decided to transform this car into a one-of-a-kind vehicle with unlimited capabilities. After 14 months of comprehensive restoration in our workshops, Targgy is now ready to tackle the most remote surf spots, navigate the roughest trails, or even head out for a weekend drive with the wind in your hair.

The chassis has been completely restored and reinforced at the suspension mounting points; a complete Elephant Racing coilover kit (+10 cm) has been installed, along with BF Goodridge KO2 tires mounted on 9×16 Fuchs rims and RSR Tarret Engineering stabilizer bars. The stock braking system has been upgraded with drilled rotors, PAGID brake pads, and aviation-grade brake lines.

A roll cage and a tubular subframe were designed to reinforce and protect the vehicle against any harsh environmental conditions.

We opted for a fully rebuilt 3.0L engine for its reliability and legendary torque, providing ample performance and ease of maintenance anywhere by any Porsche technician around the globe.

The transmission is a Type 915, which has also been overhauled and features improvements to the linkage for more precise gear selection.

The interior, meanwhile, was designed to be both elegant and rugged. The floors are treated and painted with Raptor Lining; the carpets were intentionally omitted for ease of maintenance should “Targgy” ever be submerged in water. The rear seats have been replaced with a custom storage compartment equipped with 12V outlets. The top of the compartment can hold your luggage or a surfboard. The door panels and handles were handcrafted. The dashboard is covered with ebony wood veneer.
