The story of this 911 S takes place mainly in the California Bay Area. First delivered in Oakland by Martin Johnson Porsche, it has remained there for all these years with its three owners. The owners lived in Emeryville, San Mateo and Forster City – a distance of just 32 miles!
These were also owners who understood this Porsche and treated it with the necessary respect and attention. It was used there for a good 112,000 miles and regularly serviced and maintained. The work can be plausibly traced through entries in the service booklet and a large number of invoices.
The exterior color is the breathtaking Grand Prix White (908-9-2). The paint is still the original. It is not flawless, of course, but it is immediately impressive and exudes the unmistakable charm of the 70s. A real original of this era, still with the narrow body. The body is in excellent condition, impresses even in detail with great gaps and shows no signs of accident or rust damage.
The interior of this Porsche is just as impressive as its exterior. The seats in black synthetic leather with braided grain are in high-quality condition and still offer the best comfort and support. The dashboard is also as it should be. Original, undamaged, with a deep black shine, equipped with distinctive instruments that reflect the performance and character of the vehicle. Overall, a gently aged interior without the damage that is otherwise typical of vehicles from this region. Almost in the character of a one-year-old car.
Under the hood is the powerful 2.7l engine with 165 hp, which provides an exciting sound and a great driving experience. Its technology has been continuously cared for and maintained to maintain its original performance.
This largely untouched state has fascinated me for many years and it is always a very special experience to sit behind the wheel of this Porsche and transport yourself back to the era of the 70s. In the future, I would like to concentrate on fewer vehicles and would therefore like to pass this timeless classic on to a like-minded person.
Despite little use, this classic car has been adequately looked after by me, regularly serviced and maintained. I have also acquired a Porsche birth certificate and the relevant numbers match the numbers on the vehicle. The Classic Data 2+ rating for insurance is also available.
