The 1974 Porsche 911 2.7 S represents a milestone in the history of the Stuttgart manufacturer: it marks the first year of the so-called “G-Model,” characterized by the distinctive impact bumpers and, for the first time, a deep stylistic overhaul of the bodywork with new hoods and fenders, alongside major mechanical updates ranging from the increased displacement to the adoption of K-Jetronic continuous mechanical fuel injection.
The car in question turns out to be one of the first “unified” models produced in 1973 for the 1974 model year, built in very limited numbers and only between the summer and December of ’73.
