Porsche Weissach Edition – 911 SC 3.0 Weissach Edition model year 1980 Series.

To promote the recently opened special application department and honor the motorsport and development successes of the new development center in Weissach, this special model was named “911 SC Weissach. It was given the equipment number M439. A total of 400 cars of this special series were built. Half of the cars left the factory in the exterior color black metallic, while the other half were painted platinum metallic. The special Weissach edition models were richly equipped. All cars had a standard front spoiler and a rear spoiler with fog lights integrated into the front spoiler. The rear spoiler was inherited from the 911 Turbo 3.0 and slightly modified.

The vehicle in detail

The equipment was completed by Bilstein shock absorbers, a passenger-side exterior mirror, a power sunroof, as well as an electric antenna and four speakers for the radio. In addition, 15-inch Fuchs wheels with a platinum metallic star wheel were part of the standard equipment. The combination of these special wheels with the spoilers gave the car a sporty but not too aggressive appearance. For the interior, the latest Porsche-Exclusive Manufaktur put together a high-quality interior in red, light gray and black. The turbo sport seats are upholstered in Doric gray leather and a perforated center strip with burgundy piping. The color of the piping is also reflected in the car’s carpet. In addition, all interior trim was lavishly covered in leather. The black perforated faux leather headliner fits harmoniously into the sporty but rather noble interior of this extraordinary eleven. This restoration required about 350 hours of bodywork and about 350 hours of mechanical work.
